Updated over a week ago

Collaborating on projects in Acelab ensures team members can efficiently work together and contribute effectively. Here's how to invite collaborators and manage their permissions:

Step 1: Accessing Project Collaboration Settings

  1. Select the project you want to collaborate on.

  2. Go to the "Project Info" tab.

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on "Add Collaborators."

Step 2: Sending Invitations

  1. A pop-up will appear, allowing you to enter the email addresses of the team members you wish to invite.

  2. Click "Send Invitations."

Note: Collaborators added to your project will automatically receive the "Creator" permission level. Learn more about permissions here.

Step 3: Managing Permissions

  1. Once an invitee accepts the invitation, their permission level can be adjusted.

  2. To update permissions, go to the "Team" section, locate the collaborator, and select the desired permission level from the dropdown.

  3. You can monitor the status of invitations from the "Team" section as well.

Step 4: Removing Collaborators

  1. To remove a collaborator, go to the "Project Info" section.

  2. Find their name in the collaborator list.

  3. Click the "x" icon next to their name.

  4. Confirm the removal in the pop-up that appears.

Note: Removing a collaborator will revoke their access to the project and all associated files.

By following these steps, you can ensure seamless collaboration within your projects while maintaining control over team member permissions.
