How to Set Up Your Account
1. Click on the person icon in the top right of the app and click on 'Manage Account' to access your account.
Personal Info
2. Select the ‘Edit’ button to complete your personal information section. We recommend completing all fields, but at a minimum, add your name, email, AIA number, and LinkedIn link. Click Save.
Company Info (Admins only)
3. If you have admin permission, click 'Edit' and complete all fields, including company location. The Company section is important to ensure seamless collaboration.
4. Add collaborators by scrolling down to the People Management section and selecting '+Add Team Member'. This is an important step to ensure your entire firm can communicate and share knowledge on Acelab's Materials Hub.
In the pop-up, add in all team member emails and select 'Send Invitation'. This will send welcome emails to all those added.
If someone doesn't get their email invitation, you can navigate back to this section and select 'Resend email' for the appropriate user. This will email the user their invitation again. Let your team know about the incoming invitation and ask them to check their spam folders for the most seamless roll out.
Once collaborators have accepted their invitation, you may adjust their permission levels. Learn more in the article Permissions in Acelab.
Admins who leave the company may select 'Leave Company'. This is irreversible, so please ensure that this is the desired action. To rejoin the firm on Acelab you will need to reach out to an Admin who may send you an invitation.
Settings and Preferences
5. Select your email preferences. In the Settings and Preferences section, click ‘Edit’ and select which emails you would like to receive. By default, users are set up to receive 'Transactional & Product Updates' emails. Select the down carat to switch to receive only Transactional emails.
Please note: Opting out of Product Update emails will prevent you from notifications about new launches.
Change Password and Delete Account
At the bottom of the page, you will see the options to change your password and delete your account.
Important: Once the account is deleted, data saved to the account, including searches and products, are lost. This action is final. After deleting your account you will not be able to reactivated it. Please, ensure that this is a step you would like to take.
