Install the Acelab Plug-in
Navigate to acelabusa.com/revit
Click on the Download Plugin button
Open the file
Accept the License Agreement
Click Next, and Finish
Sign-in
Open your project in Revit
Once the plug-in is installed, an Acelab tab will appear in your Revit workspace
Click on the Acelab tab
Click the Sign In button
This is the only active button until you sign in
Add your Acelab credentials and click Sign in
Notice that after signing in, you have the option to sign out, and the other features have been enabled
Link Revit to an Acelab Project
Click Select Project at the top bar menu
From the dropdown menu, select the Acelab project where products are saved
Note that the dropdown menu includes all projects you've joined in Acelab
Click Next
A message that the project has been successfully linked will be displayed, click to Close it
Map Acelab Products to Revit Family
Note: You can map Acelab products to Revit families or materials. The steps below focus on mapping to families. To see the steps for mapping Acelab products to materials, jump to the next section.
Click Map Materials to link a product in the Materials Hub to a Revit family
Search for materials by typing in the search bar, use the category filter, or use custom product fields to sort/filter products
You may display up to three product fields
Click the plus sign
Check up to three boxes for Custom, Default, or Revit fields
If three boxes are already checked, you must uncheck one or more to add another field
The fields and their data will appear next to each product
Click on the three dots next to a field name to sort or filter them
To apply a filter, check the boxes next to each filter
Fields that have been sorted will display an up or down arrow
Fields that are filtered, will display a number indicating the number of filters applied
When you locate the product(s) you want to link, click Link Revit Asset
Choose the asset by first typing on the search bar, or use the Category and Type filters to narrow down
Click Select to choose a specific asset type, or Select All Types to choose all types available for that asset
You may collapse or expand families for easier viewing
Repeat the last two last steps until all assets have been selected
Click Apply
The product you selected is now linked to the Revit asset you chose
Click on the eye icon to see all assets linked to the product
Map Acelab Products to Revit Material
Note: The first 3 steps below are the same whether you are linking a product to a Revit Family or Revit Material.
Click Map Materials
To locate the product, type the product name on the search bar, select the appropriate category from the drop-down menu, or use the product fields to sort/filter
Click the Link Revit Asset button next to the product
Instead of selecting a category and family name, click on the Map to Revit Material button at the top-right corner to switch from family selection to material selection
Select the material Class from the drop-down menu
Click the Select button next to the material
Click Apply
The product you selected is linked to the chosen material in Revit
Click the eye icon to view the material selected
View Acelab Product Information in Revit
Information from Acelab's database will be imported to Revit for all the products linked to a family or material.

Select asset
Click Edit type

In the Type Properties window, scroll down to Identity Data to see product information from Acelab's database

Open the Material Browser
Select the material
In the Identity tab, information from Acelab's database will be displayed in the Product Information section

Sync with Acelab's Materials Hub
To view Revit information in the Materials Hub, you must first sync the Revit project with Acelab
Click the Sync button from the top bar, then Sync with Acelab
Or, click the Sync with Acelab button within the Mapping window
You will get a message when the sync has been successfully complete
Navigate to the Materials Hub, select the project you integrated with Revit
Go to Schedules
Add the Revit fields (columns)
Information from your Revit project will be automatically displayed in the schedule
