How to Collaborate with Your Firm on Acelab

Updated over a month ago

Inviting your entire team to join Acelab ensures you get the most out of the platform. Follow these steps to efficiently organize your team within Acelab:

Step 1: Accessing the Account Management Area

  1. Click on the person icon in the top-right corner of your dashboard.

  2. From the dropdown menu, select "Manage Account."

Step 2: Navigate to the Company Section

  1. Once inside the "Manage Account" area, scroll down to the "Company" tab.

  2. The "Collaborators" section will display any existing team members who have already joined.

  3. To modify or add collaborators, click on the "Edit" button.

Step 3: Adding Team Members

  1. Scroll down to the "People Management" section.

  2. Click on "Add Team Member."

Step 4: Sending Invitations

  1. A pop-up will appear where you can enter the email addresses of the team members you wish to invite.

  2. Click on "Send Invitation."

Tip: Notify your team members beforehand so they can watch for the invitation email.

Tip: This will add user in People Management List as a placeholder until they accept invitation, where admin can resend email notification to invited member.

Step 5: Accepting Invitations

  1. Invited team members will receive an email with the subject line: "You've been invited to join [Your Firm Name] on Acelab."

  2. The email will include a button labeled "Accept Invitation."

  3. Upon clicking the button, they’ll be guided through setting up their profile.

  4. Once completed, they’ll gain access to the Firm Library and any projects they’re assigned to.

By following these steps, you can streamline your firm’s collaboration process and ensure everyone has the access they need to succeed on Acelab.

Collaborators added to the firm won’t automatically gain access to all projects. For each project, you’ll need to manually add collaborators based on their involvement. This allows flexibility as not all team members need access to every project. For more details on assigning collaborators to projects, refer to this article.
