Learn how to request information, including lead times, pricing, and more.

Acelab's database includes publicly available product information organized for you!

However, information that is not accessible online will not appear on Acelab's database. In this case, you can connect with an Acelab expert or a product rep directly from the platform to request any information you need.

Note: Your conversations will be neatly stored in Acelab, so it is easy for you and your team to find them when needed.

How to Request Information

You will see opportunities to connect with product reps and the Acelab team throughout your search for products, including on a Project page, Manufacturer page, and Product Comparison page.

1. Click the Request Information or Contact button

2. Select a project

  • You will be asked to select a project

    • This is where your conversation will be saved. Teammates with access to the project will have access to the conversation

      • You can create a new project if needed

      • You can save the conversation to your General Research or Firm Library, but if you are working on a particular project, we strongly recommend selecting a project

3. Provide Additional Details

  • After selecting a project, another pop-up will prompt you to select the type of information you are looking for

  • Select as many option as needed

  • Click Connect With Expert
    ​


What Happens Next?

  • Once submitted, our team of experts or the product representative will handle your request.

  • You will receive an email notification when a response is ready for you to check in your Conversations tab.

  • To see all your conversations for a particular project, click the Conversations button in the left-side menu.

  • To see all conversations across all projects, click the message icon next to your profile photo on the top right-hand corner.

Tips For Requesting Product Information

  1. Selecting a project allows the correct collaborators to access the conversation

  2. Be sure to complete and update the Project Info section of your project. This will help product reps access information and avoid a lot of back and forth

  3. On your Conversations page, you may attach files (like drawings) to help reps better understand your needs

  4. Depending on the request, product experts may need additional details before proceeding. Responding promptly to follow-up questions ensures a faster turnaround time


FAQ's

Why are there product reps available sometimes but sometimes not?

  • Acelab features products from all manufacturers in the US, Canada, and Mexico, regardless of if they have a rep available. The results that show in Acelab's search represent all information that is available on the web. Some manufacturers have paid to have that direct connection with you. What happens if a product rep isn't available?

  • If a product rep isn't available, Acelab's in-house team of licensed architects and designers will work on your request or connect you with a rep.

Who are Acelab's Product Experts?

  • Acelab's Product Experts are a highly skilled architects and designers from all over the US.

Can I request that a product or product rep be available?

  • Absolutely! If you know a great product or a great product rep, we would love to hear about them. You can contact us here. Please note, it is up to each manufacturer to decide if they would like to have a rep available.
